For families of competitive athletes who are serious about the next level.

If your athlete has the talent, but something keeps holding them back…

We’ll Assign Your Athlete a Division I or Pro Mentor Who’s Already Been Where They’re Going.

One-on-one mentorship from athletes who’ve played at the level your kid is chasing. We train the part private coaches don’t: confidence under pressure, owning their own preparation, and earning their coach’s trust. You get a progress report every month.

Apply to Get Matched With a Mentor → Two-minute application. Every athlete is reviewed personally.

Mentor spots are limited each season so every athlete gets real attention.

How it works

Three steps.

1

Apply

Two minutes. Tell us about your athlete, their sport, and what’s getting in the way.

2

Your Mentor Match Call

We learn where your athlete is and where they want to go, then match them with the right mentor for their sport.

3

Mentorship Begins

Your athlete meets one-on-one with their mentor every week. You get a monthly report on what’s changing.

What’s included

Private coaches train the body. Nobody trains the athlete. We do.

The Athlete Mentors Program

Everything your athlete needs to compete like they practice.

  • An assigned Division I or professional athlete as your athlete’s personal mentor
  • A mentor matched to your athlete’s sport
  • Scheduled one-on-one sessions every week, built around their season
  • The Reset System: a trained response to mistakes, so one bad play never becomes a bad game
  • An athlete-owned prep plan, built by your athlete and reviewed by their mentor, so you stop being the reminder
  • Coach-conversation training: how to ask for more playing time and turn feedback into action
  • The Parent Playbook: what to say after games, and when to step back
  • A monthly progress report sent straight to you
  • We handle everything else: scheduling, session prep, and follow-up
Every mentor has competed at the Division I or professional level and is vetted before working with a single athlete.

Fit

Who this is for.

This is for

  • Parents of athletes competing on club, travel, school, or academy teams
  • Athletes with real talent who struggle with confidence, consistency, or pressure
  • Families already investing in their athlete’s skills, ready to invest in the mental side
  • Parents who want their athlete to own their development, not be pushed through it
  • Athletes with goals at the next level: varsity, college, or beyond

This is not for

  • Recreational players with no competitive goals
  • Parents looking for someone to “fix” their kid without being involved

If that’s you, this isn’t a fit, and that’s fine.

FAQ

The questions parents ask us most.

My athlete already has a private coach.
Keep them. Your coach builds skill. Your athlete’s mentor builds the person using that skill: how they handle pressure, prepare on their own, and respond when things go wrong. The two work together, and most of our families have both.
What actually happens in a session?
It isn’t drills. The mentor reviews the past week, breaks down a game moment, works the Reset System, checks the prep plan your athlete built, and prepares them for any conversation they need to have with their coach. Every session ends with one clear thing to own before the next one.
Who are the mentors?
Former Division I and professional athletes who’ve lived the pressure your athlete is facing. Each one is vetted and trained on our framework before they’re assigned, and matched to your athlete based on sport and goals.
How will I know it’s working?
You’ll get a monthly progress report showing what your athlete worked on, what changed, and what’s next. Most parents notice it first in how their athlete talks about mistakes and how they prepare without being told.
Our schedule is already packed.
Sessions are scheduled around practices and games, and we handle all of the logistics: booking, reminders, prep, and follow-up. Your only job is to read the report.
Why not just find a former athlete on our own?
Playing at a high level and mentoring a young athlete are two different skills. We vet every mentor, train them on a proven framework, match them to your athlete, and hold them to a weekly standard with reporting back to you. You get structure and accountability, not just a conversation.
Athlete Mentors

Athlete Mentors pairs athletes with former collegiate and professional athletes for one-on-one mentorship. Mentorship is not medical, psychological, or clinical care. Individual results vary, and no specific athletic outcome, roster spot, playing time, or scholarship is guaranteed.
